Podcaster's Terms of Service

Mission Statement

Teckcasts, a service of Tecker, aims to offer up starting podcasters a hosting, advertising, and distribution network to publicize their shows to the world. However Teckcasts wishes to maintain a tranquil, and organized community. Thus we need to enforce a few rules for everyone's benefit:

  1. You must plug Teckcasts. (We will make up an audio plug soon)
  2. It must be about tech (this is Teckcasts!)
  3. No cursing and must be in good taste (ie: not defamatory, obscene, rude, racially challenging, or otherwise derogatory)
  4. Must exemplify (and be positive about) the Tecker brand
  5. You may accept payment or samples from companies only with disclosure (ie: "The manufacturing sent us this")
  6. You must provide us with a valid e-mail address for use in contacting you. You must also respond quickly to mail we send you.
  7. We may use all or part of your content in promotional materials.
  8. We are not responsible for any damages resulting from the removal of your content from our service, whether monitory or physical, with no exception.
  9. Advertising rules undecided
  10. Tecker reserve the right to take down/suspend/cancel any show/episode, which violate sits policies without warning.

Overview of the terms for removal

  1. Swearing, Profanity, or other vulgar or indecent acts.
  2. Failure to mention Teckcasts or we may just insert a plug for you.
  3. Not releasing a show in 3 months will result in removal of your content, as your podcast is probably "Dead."
  4. Failure to respond to a message from Teckcasts within a reasonable timeframe.
  5. Any other break of the above terms of service

The Teckcasts service (comprising of the website, teckcasts.net, and other elements) as owned by Tecker By registering for, using, or in any other way taking advantage of Teckcasts, you agree to the following terms and conditions of service. Failure to agree means you may not use the service. Furthermore, Teckcasts reserves the right to change it's policies with or without notice to you, and retains no liability if it does.
